There were a total of 23 NFL teams represented at Louisiana Tech Pro
Day on March 26. The workout was held outdoors on field-turf. A total of
24 players worked out.
Ryan Allen P (6-1, 225 pounds) – He has a very, very strong leg. He kept his numbers from the combine
Colby Cameron QB (6-2 ¾, 210 pounds) – He has very good
accuracy through intermediate area. He doesn’t have the strongest arm,
but has adequate arm strength to throw the ball. Cameron kept his
numbers from the combine
Oscar Johnson OT (6-5 ¾, 335 pounds) – He ran 5.45 and 5.57 in
the 40-yard dash. He kept his vertical and broad jump from the combine.
Johnson recorded the short shuttle drill in 5.14 second and completed
the three-cone drill in 7.90 seconds. He has very long arms (35 inches).
He recorded 19 strength lifts.
Jordan Mills OT (6-5 ½, 313 pounds) –He proved very
impressive, but they’re not certain he can play left tackle. He’ll do a
good job as a right tackle. Not sure if he has good enough feet to be a
left tackle. He kept his numbers from the combine.
Quinton Patton WR (6-0 ¼, 202 pounds) – He ran 4.48 and 4.50
in the 40-yard dash. He recorded a 37-inch vertical jump and a 9-foot-6
broad jump. Patton kept the rest of his numbers from the combine. He
looked very good. Patton had a couple drops early but then looked very
good catching the ball. He’s probably going to be a second-round pick.
Ray Holley RB (5-8, 194 pounds) – He ran 4.57 and 4.56 in the
40-yard dash and recorded a 37.5 inch vertical jump and a 9-foot-11
broad jump. He finished the short shuttle in 4.15 and the three-cone
drill in 6.85. He recorded 27 strength lifts, which is unheard of
because of his size. Holley is a guy that is small, but really quick and
strong. He catches the ball well.
